Three years of growth
Our delivery has grown year on year as we adapted to the deepening crisis in Sudan:
- 2022–23: approximately 30 cartons of supplies sent as supplementary support.
- 2023–24: approximately half a container, as the shift toward supply delivery began with the war.
- 2024–25: a full container of approximately 2,978 units — our largest delivery to date.
Who we reach
The patients we support live with a stoma for many different reasons — cancer, gunshot and blast injuries, road traffic accidents, congenital conditions, inflammatory bowel disease, and post-operative complications. They span every age group, from newborns to the elderly. Our supplies cover the full range of needs, spanning all major manufacturers including Coloplast, Salts, Pelican, Dansac, ConvaTec and Hollister.
In our most recent year, the estimated fair value of donated goods delivered was approximately £16,379, with all shipping, customs and distribution costs — around £4,729 — funded directly by our partner organisations rather than passing through the charity’s accounts. It is an efficient, in-kind model that turns donated supplies into direct patient impact.
